What is a visa change by bus?
A visa change by bus, also called a border to border (B2B) visa change, means you travel by road from Dubai to the UAE and Oman border, exit the UAE, and enter again on a new UAE visit visa. It is the most affordable way to start a new visit visa without taking a flight.
Who needs a bus visa change?
- Visa on arrival holders: a visa on arrival cannot be extended through an agency, so you need to exit and return. Your package is AED 1,000.
- Residence visa cancelled: if you want to stay on a visit visa after cancellation, you need to exit and return. Your package is AED 1,000.
- Visit visa holders with no extensions left: a 30 day visa can be extended 3 times and a 60 day visa 2 times. After that you need a visa change. Your package is AED 1,300.
- Visas issued by another agency: only the issuing agency can extend a visa, so switching to us means a visa change.
Changing from a visit visa to another visit visa inside the UAE is not possible, so an exit by bus or A2A visa change is required. If you hold a visa we issued and still have extensions left, a 30 day extension for AED 1,200 lets you stay without leaving.
